There are numerous ways of travelling to L'ABear Vie including:

  • Plane - flights operated by Ryanair who currently fly from Standsted & East Midlands,Bristol direct to Limoges (45 minutes drive) and Poitiers (75 minutes drive). BMI Baby fly to Bordeaux and Paris from a number of UK airports including Manchester and East Midlands. For those living nearer the South West, Flybe fly from Southampton to Limoges. Car rental is available from the airports.
  • Car - ferries from Portsmouth to Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre and St Malo (approximately 5 hours drive from Caen and St Malo, 5 1/2 hours from Le Havre and 6 hours from Cherbourg) or Newhaven to Dieppe (6 hours drive). Other routes are available so check with operators below.
  • Train - Eurostar to Paris then change to the high speed TGV train through to Ruffec via Poitiers.
